Hotel Pipeline Expands in Europe, All Other Regions Decline — LODGING

ARLINGTON, Virginia—On the finish of the third quarter, Europe was the one world area to point out a rise in lodge building and general pipeline exercise, in line with CoStar’s September 2025 pipeline information.

Europe

  • In building: 171,589 rooms (up 5.2 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 71,502 rooms (down 18.5 p.c)
  • Planning: 185,254 rooms (up 14.2 p.c) 
  • Whole Beneath Contract: 428,345 (up 3.7 p.c)

The UK led Europe in complete rooms in building (24,540), carefully adopted by Germany (22,622).

Asia Pacific
  • In building: 492,663 rooms (down 3.2 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 42,911 rooms (down 22.6 p.c)
  • Planning: 415,446 rooms (up 6.6 p.c)
  • Whole Beneath Contract: 951,020 (down 0.3 p.c)

Amongst nations within the area, China (280,577) led in building exercise, adopted by India (41,711) and Vietnam (39,078).

Center East & Africa

  • In building: 99,895 rooms (down 9.4 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 19,396 rooms (down 37.3 p.c)
  • Planning: 94,485 rooms (up 10.9 p.c)
  • Whole Beneath Contract: 213,776 (down 5.6 p.c)

Many of the area’s pipeline exercise was targeted within the Center East. Saudi Arabia (44,771) and the United Arab Emirates (14,685) had probably the most rooms in building.

Americas

  • In building: 190,842 rooms (down 8.8 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 292,538 rooms (down 4.1 p.c)
  • Planning: 390,345 rooms (up 0.8 p.c)
  • Whole Beneath Contract: 873,725 (down 3.1 p.c)

The USA (138,922) held nearly all of rooms in building within the area. After the USA, Mexico (14,290), Canada (8,988), and Brazil (5,481) confirmed the best variety of rooms in building.
