Mike’s Purple Tacos has launched a nationwide franchising program with greater than 200 places in its improvement pipeline. The corporate has secured multi-unit improvement agreements with franchisees skilled with manufacturers together with Dave’s Scorching Hen, Jersey Mike’s, Blaze Pizza, Dunkin’, Little Caesars, Carl’s Jr., and Wetzel’s Pretzels. These agreements cowl markets similar to California, Michigan, Minnesota, New England, Nevada, Texas, Virginia, Arizona, Indiana, and Illinois.

Vincent Montanelli has been named president. Montanelli beforehand held management roles at Wetzel’s Pretzels for practically 20 years. Invoice Phelps and Andrew Feghali are early-stage buyers and advisors. Phelps was CEO of Dave’s Scorching Hen and co-founder of Wetzel’s Pretzels. Feghali was the primary franchisee for Dave’s Scorching Hen and has multi-unit franchising expertise with Jersey Mike’s and Little Caesars.

Building on the preliminary set of franchise eating places is scheduled to start within the coming months, with the primary opening deliberate by the top of 2026. Mike’s Purple Tacos can be investing in a brand new corporate-run restaurant in Pasadena, California, set to open this spring. This location will function a prototype for future shops and can home the Model Coaching Middle. Founder Mike Touma is opening a 3rd location in San Diego in March.

Based as a meals truck in 2021, Mike’s Purple Tacos presently operates two eating places and was included in Yelp’s Prime 100 U.S. Eating places for 2023. The corporate’s preliminary development technique will give attention to markets together with Southern California, Seattle, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Miami, and Boston.
