Expansion Plans for Barberitos Include Six New Outlets in Savannah and Athens

Barberitos, a fast-casual burrito chain, is increasing its presence in Georgia by means of two new multi-unit improvement agreements. The agreements will end result within the opening of six new franchise places, with three in Savannah and three in Athens. This growth builds on Barberitos’ present operations within the state.

Franchisee David Weeks has dedicated to opening three new places in Athens. Weeks presently operates 21 eating places within the Athens space, together with 9 Barberitos shops. His present Barberitos places are among the many high performers within the franchise system.

Franchisee Azat Nasretdinov may also open three new places in Savannah. In 2024, he acquired his first Barberitos location in Vidalia. He transitioned from a company comptroller position to entrepreneurship and goals to develop fast-casual eating choices in Savannah.

The growth aligns with Georgia’s recognition as a high franchise development market, as famous in a report by the Worldwide Franchise Affiliation. Barberitos is a part of the WOWorks eating platform, which is searching for further skilled franchisees to affix its community.

Barberitos affords a menu that includes burritos, bowls, and quesadillas, emphasizing contemporary and customizable choices. The model goals to supply nutritious eating decisions in a fast-casual setting.
