Most Regions Increase Hotel Pipeline Activity

ARLINGTON, Virginia—Center East and Africa was the one world area to point out a decline in total resort pipeline exercise on the finish of the second quarter, in accordance with CoStar’s June 2025 pipeline information.

Europe

  • In development: 171,503 rooms (up 3.4 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 74,922 rooms (down 19.7 p.c)
  • Planning: 185,311 rooms (up 15.4 p.c) 
  • Whole Underneath Contract: 431,736 (up 2.9 p.c)

The UK led the area in whole rooms in development (24,711), carefully adopted by Germany (23,400).

Asia Pacific

  • In development: 523,672 rooms (up 4.0 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 41,705 rooms (down 54.3 p.c)
  • Planning: 391,877 rooms (up 21.0 p.c)
  • Whole Underneath Contract: 957,254 (up 4.2 p.c)

Amongst international locations within the area, China (318,327) led in development exercise, adopted by India (40,950) and Vietnam (36,338).

Center East & Africa

  • In development: 103,115 rooms (down 5.4 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 21,731 rooms (down 34.2 p.c)
  • Planning: 94,391 rooms (up 13.7 p.c)
  • Whole Underneath Contract: 219,237 (down 2.6 p.c)

A lot of the area’s pipeline exercise is targeted within the Center East. Saudi Arabia (46,015) and the United Arab Emirates (16,271) have essentially the most rooms below development.

Americas

  • In development: 189,102 rooms (down 9.3 p.c)
  • Ultimate Planning: 303,528 rooms (up 1.5 p.c)
  • Planning: 410,322 rooms (up 6.4 p.c)
  • Whole Underneath Contract: 902,952 (up 1.1 p.c)

The U.S. (138,922) holds nearly all of rooms in development within the area. After the U.S., Mexico (14,562), Canada (9,128), and Brazil (5,334) present the very best variety of rooms in development.
