JLL Announces Sale of The Boxer Boston — LODGING

BOSTON, Massachusetts—JLL’s Inns & Hospitality Group introduced the sale of The Boxer Boston, an 80-key restored historic resort situated in Boston’s West Finish neighborhood, to Eurostars Inns Firm, the resort division of Grupo Hotusa. JLL represented the vendor, Hersha Inns & Resorts, within the transaction.

Initially constructed in 1904, The Boxer Boston occupies a nine-story constructing. The property underwent a complete million-dollar renovation in 2013 when it was relaunched as The Boxer. Possession accomplished further restaurant and foyer refreshes in 2019-2020.

The total-service resort affords 80 guestrooms with Boston-inspired decor, together with riveted-steel wardrobes, gaslamp-inspired lighting, and Calacatta-marble toilet counter tops. Visitor facilities embody a health heart, complimentary bicycles, and the on-site restaurant and bar, Bulfinch Social, which affords breakfast and dinner each day.

The Boxer Boston is inside strolling distance of TD Backyard, the Charles River Esplanade, and several other leisure venues and points of interest. The resort is steps away from One Congress and simply blocks from North Station, a serious transportation hub. Massachusetts Basic Hospital’s fundamental campus within the West Finish can be close by.

With this acquisition, The Boxer will turn out to be the fifth resort operated by Eurostars Inns Firm in the USA.
